The Memorial consists of seven black granite faced walls honoring the Veterans of nine different conflicts, MIA’s and POW’s.  A photo collage will be etched into each granite wall depicting the action the men and women faced in their particular conflict.  To begin the Memorial a 21-foot obelisk also faced with black granite wall be located at the east entrance to the park.  An American flag made from colored granite will be reverently draped on the top of the obelisk. The obelisk has 5 sides, each side bearing a logo of the branch of service represented in the Memorial walls. The trails that are being designed in the park will link up with the regional trail system for the City of Murrieta.
